In the third quarter of 2024, the top news and magazine apps on a unified platform in Slovakia showcased varied performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared in terms of weekly downloads and active users.

Hindi News by Dainik Bhaskar saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 173 in early July and reaching a peak of nearly 298 by early September. The app maintained a steady rise in weekly active users, moving from 2.3K to over 3K by the end of the quarter.

The Way2News Daily News App experienced a more fluctuating trend. Weekly downloads peaked at 253 in mid-July but gradually declined to 58 by the end of September. Active users followed a similar pattern, with numbers starting at approximately 8.9K, peaking at 9.7K, and then settling at around 8.3K.

Shuru:Public News & Local News showed modest growth in weekly downloads, from 77 in early July to a peak of 160 in early September, before ending the quarter at 81. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at 820 and peaking at 1.05K in early September.

Opera News: breaking & local maintained a stable presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 67 and 142. Active users started at 1.3K, experienced slight variations, and ended the quarter at 1.1K.

Finally, Quora: the knowledge platform saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, beginning at 113 in early July and peaking at 179 in early September. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at approximately 4.9K and closing the quarter at about 5.2K.
